I am a Science teacher who enjoys inspiring others to learn about Science, by teaching interesting and challenging lessons linking Science to the world around us. I was born in Ireland, have traveled extensively around the world Scuba diving, as my main interest is Marine Biology. I have taught in the UK for over 11 years.
I have taught for 11 years including my teacher training. I have had the pleasure of teaching in an Outstanding School in Hampshire and a Good School in York. Throughout my teaching career I have achieved many Good and Outstanding lesson observations, including those under Ofsted inspections.
I believe that tutoring should be tailored to the needs of the individual Student or Students.
My approach is to:
1. Assess pupil needs.
2. Diagnose areas of strength and areas for further improvement.
3. Plan a program of study around the student`s goals and the time available.
4. Regularly update and adjust the plan based on progress.
Above all tuition is about providing personalised, engaging, and challenging learning.
Availability: Some Weekday Evenings, Weekends.
Willing to travel: 5 miles

Oisin is an exceptional tutor and after only 3 sessions, we have seen a marked improvement in my daughter`s confidence and knowledge.
He is engaging, well planned and the sessions are well structured. He brings the subject to life and offers practical advice on exam technique and his teaching experience is really evident. He has rapidly become an essential part of Georgia`s learning process and I am sure his input will have a significant impact on her exam result.

Oisin is great. He tailors his teaching to suit my needs, provides excellent resources and is very thorough. He has made science much more interesting for me and makes sure I understand what he is teaching. He is always on time and willing to go the extra mile in helping me. I can whole-heartedly recommend him to anybody looking for a tutor.

Oisin was a really fabulous tutor who made me understand and sometimes enjoy a subject which I had previously given up on. He really made things simple and understandable as well as constantly being encouraging. I would certainly recommend him as a tutor he knew what he was doing and suited the lesson around me as an individual to help me try to achieve my target grade ! Thanks Oisin!
