I am passionate about education and learning and have experience of teaching and tutoring students and adults towards success at GCSE, A and IB levels. I am a senior examiner and author for two exam boards and a teacher trainer for international examinations. Currently I can only provide tutoring online to students. I am experienced in tutoring Advanced level students for all UK Exam boards and the International Baccalaureate. I also tutor students for IGCSE and GCSE in Economics and Business Studies. Students within my classes often improve their understanding of the subject to the extent that Economics become their strongest subjects.

Jo is a very professional and organised tutor with extensive experience. My daughter likes her and is keen to complete the work that Jo sets immediately after the lesson. After just a few lessons, my daughter’s general understanding of economics has improved and she is enjoying the subject far more at school. I would totally recommend Jo as a tutor.

I only had Jo as my tutor for one session before one of my economics papers, but she helped me more in an hour than most teachers do in a year. Was very helpful, good at explaining things and wasn’t judgemental when asked questions Very good tutor!
