I am a professional tutor with Ph.D. in organic chemistry and with over 10 years of teaching and tutoring experience. During my career I taught chemistry to students of all levels and abilities, from Y10 all the way to Uni. I have extensive experience in tutoring students in chemistry from top secondary schools and universities in the UK and around the world. My former students went on to attend most prestigious universities on both sides of the Atlantic, such as Oxbridge, Imperial, Harvard, Columbia and so on. In addition to the UK curriculum, I also offer tuition in IB chemistry and AP chemistry.

I offer tuition in the following subjects:
-Chemistry: GCSE, A-Level, IB, University foundation year, University organic chemistry
Syllabus: AQA, CIE, Edexcel, OCR

I offer tuition at my house or online.

I have been tutoring online for a number of years, teaching both secondary school/high school and university students from all over the world. There is no need to go anywhere and all the student needs is a laptop. For lessons I use digital whiteboard, where both student and I can write. The digital white board is saved and the student can access it anytime. This creates a record of every session which can then be used later for revision.

Experience: I started teaching chemistry to undergraduate students while at graduate school at University of California, Santa Cruz. I taught general and organic chemistry. After receiving my Ph.D., I worked as a research scientist for a startup company in Silicon Valley, California, working on cutting edge research in nanotechnology. I have been a full-time chemistry tutor for more than 5 years, teaching students on both sides of the Atlantic. I have tutored students in GCSE level chemistry, A-level chemistry, and college level chemistry. I am well familiar with the curriculum and stringent requirements of GCSE and A-level examinations.
