At present I am working as a subject leader in an American Community school. Over the course of my 14 year teaching career, I have taught chemistry, biology and biochemistry at all secondary grade levels and within a variety of curricula, including several years of experience teaching IB chemistry, at both standard & higher level and AS/A2 levels. I have moderated IB chemistry lab work and have supported both micro and macro science projects. I have led the chemistry department and also performed duties as educational consultant.

My experience also includes preparing students for the SET and SAT exams. I am a warm and caring teacher who wants all children to be successful learners and, to that end, I work towards building strong self-esteem in each of my students. Working in a variety of learning environments has taught me to be highly adaptable: I appreciate and accept cultural diversity, recognize and support diverse learning styles, and am skilled at using differentiation to address unique student needs.
