I am a second year medical student at Medicine at Imperial College London. My A Level results were Biology A*, Chemistry A*, Mathematics A*. I studied at St Paul`s School, Barnes. I am particularly skilled at tutoring Science and Mathematics up to A Level standard. I am also available to help with BMAT (Biomedical Aptitude Test) as well as medical school preparation (interview practice, personal statement improvement and general application advice).

I am hardworking and very enthusiastic which allows learners of all ages to engage well with me. My philosophy is very much about finding a personalised teaching method that caters to you. I am very passionate about teaching and wish to help you in achieving all of your goals.

Personally, I don`t see exams as useful learning tools but rather stepping stones in order to access a higher level of education. My aim is to facilitate your learning in a way that allows mastery of the concepts and ideas behind the topics. The students that perform best in exams are the ones who have the greatest level of understanding- not necessarily always the ones who work the hardest.

Experience: Teaching is a real passion of mine and it is something I truly excel at. I am young, enthusiastic and have a great deal of experience. I have been working both through Tutor hunt and privately for the past 4 years having taken on many tutees through that time. I have mainly tutored Biology, Chemistry and Maths ranging from KS3 level all the way up to A level. I have a very sound understanding of these subjects and the concepts that underlie them which allows me to best explain difficult topics in a straightforward manner. I am familiar with several different exam boards and I am able to adapt in turn to the intricacies which each has to offer.

Further teaching experience:

October 2019- present - During my first year of medical school, I have taken part in supra-curricular seminars and given tutorials to members of my year who have required further help.

January 2019- August 2019 - Taught English in a school in Cambodia as part of my Gap year.

September - December 2018- Teaching assistant at Orley Farm School for the Autumn term.

July-June 2017 - Taught English in Sri Lanka to underprivileged children in deprived schools in Galle. This was a very rewarding experience which was truly humbling- I learnt a lot about different methods in engaging with young children and being able to clearly explain my points.
