A recent biomedical science graduate from Manchster Metropolitan University.
I tutor people of all ages in biology, English, psychology, religious studies. I am also TEFL qualified and can teach English as a foreign language.

My main objective is to help the student achieve the best grade possible by providing them with various learning techniques and making the sessions fun and interactive. The first session will consist of discussing what the student hopes to gain out of the sessions and pinpointing any weaknesses. For the rest of the tutoring sessions we will follow a structured plan to ensure everything is covered in detail. I use a range of techniques such as past papers, flash cards, posters etc. all relevant to the specific syllabus of the student. (Teaching methods may vary depending on the type of learning style the student prefers). By giving regular spot tests, students can not only improve their exam technique but also learn to apply their knowledge to exam style questions and not just learn facts.

Availability: Weekdays, evenings and weekends.

Experience: With previous experience tutoring students of various ages and levels I have learnt to develop my technique to suit the individual. I have previously tutored GCSE Biology, English and Religious Studies and A level Psychology. I have also travelled to Spain to assist Spanish students with their English and to China to tutor Chinese students. Additionally I have travelled to Thailand to teach English to both primary and middle school students for 4 months. Being a recent student myself, I understand how frustrating and stressful learning and understanding new concepts can be and how important it is to find the right tutor, from this I use my own knowledge and previous experience to tailor each session to the needs of the individual.
