I am a creative person and always go the extra mile to make my lessons fun and engaging. I cater my classes specifically to the student I work with, as we all learn in different ways. I like to form a rapport with my students and get to know them in order to get the best academic results from them. I come from a performing arts background (BRIT School) and went on to achieve an MA in Creative Writing from the University of Kent. Alongside teaching, I write scri pts for stage and have written several short stories for various companies. I am best suited to tutoring English, drama, and humanities. I like to add sparkle and colour to my classes and am best suited to working with parents and students who would embrace my colourful learning approach.

Experience: I have experience tutoring students from the ages of 8-18. I worked closely with two children sitting their SATS and GCSES for over two years before locating to Margate. I am currently a 1.1 SEN Teaching Assistant at Salmestone Primary School in Margate. I will also be offering specialist English support to students from September. This means I am familiar with the current curriculum and am able to plan lessons that produce results. I worked as a Conversation Teacher at Chaucer College Canterbury (a Japanese language school) for over a year, and lived in at the residence. I was employed as a House Matron at Cats College Canterbury where I was expected to safeguard students and offer emotional and academic support. I have an up-to-date CRB and am first aid trained.
