Let me introduce myself, my name is Maria Jesus and I am coming from Valladolid, one of the cities in Spain where Spanish is better spoken. I moved to the UK 6 years ago and I have worked as a Spanish tutor for the last 5 years. This is my second job because I work as Occupational Therapist Assistant in a mental hospital in the area where I live. I enjoy guiding and helping my patients to achieve their goals in order to promote their independence and I apply this in my role as a Spanish tutor. Being able to speak a foreign language gives you the opportunity of travelling, meet new people, have new experiences and be independent.
Availability: From Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 8:00 am and from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm for online lessons.
Weekends at any time for face-to-face lessons and online lessons.
Willing to travel: 12 miles
Experience: I have worked as a Spanish tutor for the last 6 years. I have worked as a Spanish tutor for 2 well-known agencies UK based and one language franchise.
I have got experience as a 1:1 tutor and also in groups. I have taught all the levels from beginners to advance and I have also helped to prepare for A levels, GCSE, DELE, and University exams. I also give "out of hours" support: online, skype, email, messenger, WhatsApp... to make sure my students are prepared just before their exams

I would highly recommend Maria- I made a lot of progress as an adult learner in her classes. Maria adapts her teaching very well to all levels. She makes her explanations of Spanish grammar very clear. Maria is punctual and well organised. She is a very pleasant and friendly person to have as a teacher for both young and mature students.

Maria is helping my son preparing for university modern language foundation course. She is enthusiastic, supportive with loads of great ideas. She is helping to provide structure and grammar to his self learning. Highly Recommended.
