Having transitioned from an underperforming student to achieving 100 UMS within multiple exams at GCSE has helped set the foundations for my teaching style. Studying Chemistry with Biochemistry at degree level provided me with further insight into the subjects of Chemistry and Biology, enabling me to equip students with the right knowledge to understand and apply key concepts.

Recently completing my A Levels and GCSEs whilst also having had experience tutoring in these qualifications for over 2 years has naturally allowed me to keep up to date with the current exam board specifications. Through my experience I have developed simple tips and tricks students can use for exam success and achieve those top grades. Additionally, my experience of previously tutoring has exposed me to working with students with different needs and startling levels. As a result I am able to tailor and adapt my teaching style to each student’s different needs. Each lesson is pre-planned and I bring my own notes and provide handouts and external resources.

Availability: 9-9pm on Fridays. 6-10pm on Weekends.

Experience: • Gave in-person instruction to groups of 6 on A Level/ GCSE level biology, chemistry and mathematics.
• Identified students’ strengths and weaknesses and tailoring teaching style to each students’ personal needs with an average grade increase of 2 with a 100% GCSE pass rate.
• Kept students on-task with proactive behaviour modification and positive reinforcement strategies.
