I am currently undertaking a Primary PGCE at University of Southampton I am expected to achieve qualified teacher status (QTS) by 1st July 2021, before commencing a full-time primary teaching position in September 2021. My experience includes six years as a part-time nursery assistant, one year as a primary teaching assistant (KS2), and one year as a trainee teacher (KS1 & KS2), providing me with opportunities to work closely with children from 6 months to 11 years and supporting them with their learning.

I am a patient tutor with an interest in understanding each child`s individual personality and learning style. I am confident in adapting my teaching methods to best suit each child in the way they think and learn. My tuition will be particularly beneficial to those who may feel as though they are falling behind in their school lessons and who perhaps experience anxiety with certain subjects, as the one-on-one learning opportunity will allow the pace of each lesson to be tailored towards the individual child. I am enthusiastic and encouraging in my tutoring and I aim to ensure each child feels relaxed, confident, and proud of their achievements.

Availability: I am available from 1st July 2021 until 1st September 2021 and can be flexible with days and times.

Experience: I have worked at a local Montessori nursery part-time for the past six years and have recently completed a year`s work experience as a class teaching assistant at a primary school. I am also approaching the end of my Primary PGCE which will allow me to obtain qualified teacher status (QTS) by 1st July 2021.
