My tutoring sessions are shaped by you - from 1 - 2 hours of tuition with a focus of your choice. I can support you to identify the most important areas for development and target these skills; reading analysis, a range of writing types, poetry comparison etc.

Our sessions would include the explicit teaching of skills, discussion of texts, practice and feedback.

I am a friendly, professional educator who is dedicated to providing enjoyable tutoring sessions. I`ll take the time to get to know what you need and help you to feel more confident after every lesson.

I have lots of experience working with students from a range of backgrounds and starting points, including those with SEND.

I have a full DBS check.

Experience: I have 9 years experience within the education sector and have supported many students through their exams. I currently work as a teacher educator where I train English teachers in line with the most up to date educational research.


I have 5+ years of English teaching experience and also held a position as Head of Sociology for 3 years.
