I am an enthusiastic and well organised university student at King’s College London studying Medicine (MBBS). I am a hard-working, articulate and experienced tutor with practice based on rigorous subject and educational knowledge. I offer tutorials with an emphasis on mentoring, motivation and confidence building.

I understand how frustrating it can be to make sense of an idea, concept, or principle. I aim to use my up to date experiences and revision techniques to make grasping content as easy as possible. As I am also a younger (but also well experienced) tutor, this helps me have a more up to date and coherent understanding of the acknowledged content in the specification for each exam. Furthermore it helps me to better relate to the student which helps when breaking down and explaining difficult concepts as well as being an excellent role model for my students.

Parents will be updated each session, which will include personalised feedback and homework / assessments to track your child’s progress.

With extensive revision and efficient studying methods, I did also acquire a very high UCAT score and I secured medical offers post interview and I am thus able to offer UCAT tutorials and assist in Interview Preparation.

Experience: Whilst studying for my A levels and starting my Medicine degree (MBBS) at KCL University I have (and am) continuing to run a tuition business called RAN tutors. I have so far taught over 90 students, helping every single student to hit their target (or higher) grade. This entails both group teaching and one to one teaching with many students from ages ranging 7-18. I have taught all exam boards at GCSE and A level for Maths and the Science’s which has widened my curriculum knowledge and ensured that I have become more adept to teaching each subject efficiently with specific working methods, revision strategies and online tools.

I have also attained many transferrable tutoring skills whilst teaching many non-academic activities. For example I have assisted children of ages 10-16, from various different backgrounds, in developing their boxing skills and becoming more committed towards fitness. This developed my leadership and communication skills as I often had to break language barriers and keep the children disciplined. I have also spent time teaching children with disabilities on how to swim. This involved teaching swimming techniques and paying close attention to identify their weaker areas whilst in the water, thus helping to build their confidence.
