I am a fully qualified Secondary English teacher with three years of experience teaching in a Secondary School. I have an undergraduate degree in English and Drama from the University of East Anglia and also a Post Graduate Certificate of Education degree with The University of Worcester. I can help support with any essay-based subject.

I have taught at three different schools within Herefordshire and have worked as a supply teacher within both primary and secondary schools in London. I have experience teaching the KS1, KS2, KS3 and GCSE syllabus. I can do online remote sessions, classes and support. I can support with any set or work given by normal class teachers during the COVID-19 crisis but also have my own bank of resources to provide my own lessons.

I hope to help each and every student I work with to find the joy in learning and find teaching to be an incredibly rewarding job!

Availability: I am fully available and flexible for weekends and weekdays.

Experience: I am fully qualified Secondary English Teacher with three years of experience teaching in a variety of schools in both Herefordshire and London. My specialism is Secondary English but I have worked in primary and secondary schools and therefore am familiar with the KS1 through to GCSE and A-level syllabus. I have experience tutoring individual students beyond the classroom and running study group and revision sessions in both primary and secondary schools. I have mentored students looking to improve their overall performance at school, and subsequently improved their grades in the lead up to the exams. I am passionate about helping my students to find joy and confidence in their reading and writing and find teaching incredibly rewarding.

I have taught across a range of exam boards in a variety of different schools for English Literature and Language GCSE, with experience of the 9-1 grading system.
