My Name is Dave, I have been a secondary school teacher for 9 years, Head of Social Science (History, Politics and Sociology) at a successful local Gloucester Comprehensive school.
I am passionate about students achieving the highest standard possible and enjoy the profession. I have both a masters in History and a 2:1 degree from Cardiff University. I have also marked for OCR GCSE and I currently mark for OCR A-Level History.
Willing to travel: 8 miles
Experience: 9 years of teaching History, Politics, Sociology and Ancient History.
Third year as Head of Faculty for Social Science, overseeing predominantly the History department but other Social Science subjects (Politics/Sociology) in a successful, large department.

David is an excellent tutor. He explains things very clearly, and brings the subject to life with very relevant examples. He always takes my daughter`s specific needs into consideration and tailors lesson accordingly. David also inspires confidence and encourages my daughter to engage throughout. We feel very lucky to have David as a tutor.
