I have been teaching English for seven years now and have had successful results each year. If you would like to improve your subject knowledge on any of the GCSE texts, sharpen your writing or just generally get better at the subject of English, I could be the tutor for you.

I like to focus my lessons around the student and what they know. Expect to have a lot of feedback, as I believe the best way to improve is through exam practice and redrafting of our work.

During the last three years of my practice, I have also worked as an examiner for AQA examiner. This not only means that I know what is required for the exam specification, but also what distinguishes a mid range answer from the higher bands. If you want to know how to get grade 7 and above, then we can work together to make it happen.

I am happy to meet at a location which is convenient for us both or come to you.

Availability: I am available Mon - Fri after 10AM until 7PM.

Experience: - 7 years teaching English at KS3, 4 and 5

- Strong record of student attainment. In my last English class, 80% of students achieved their target grade

- AQA English Literature examiner for the last 3 years
