I am an incredibly passionate English Tutor. I see the subject as the foundation of almost all academic tasks and important for my students to grasp correctly at each level. I have developed four main ways that I am to able do this and provide a unique learning experience for your child:

To challenge my student to gain the highest attainment. I’ll do this by utilising higher level examination papers, tacking all necessary topics.

To build the confidence of my students and instil ambition and commitment to hard work that goes beyond English. This comes in the form of mentoring and education on the structure of the brain, the importance of self-care and using this to help succeed in school life. This is to directly combat some of the various pressures of schooling and outdated structures that makes it challenging for children to move out of assigned set groups.

To teach and create resources that allow all students to engage with English regardless of their cultural, socio-economical and educational background.

To expand the horizons of my students in the world of English, in particular reading a variety of books outside of the curriculum, as well as real world applications of English and why it’s so important to develop skills i.e essay writing and critical thinking.

Experience: I have worked with young children from reception to secondary level in both educational and mentoring. I have also facilitated young people events, developing my ability to relate to my students.
