About Me:
I`m a passionate and experienced tutor with a PhD in Molecular Biology and a First-Class Honours degree in Biology, both from the University of Nottingham. I have delivered over 6,700 hours of online tuition and specialise in helping students build confidence, deepen understanding, and succeed in exams.

Tara is such a wonderful teacher. I attended all of her night before revision sessions prior to my A level Biology exams. They were exactly what I needed! Jam packed with interactive activities, questions, exam question practice and many exam board specific tips (eg. keywords to include and mistakes to avoid), I couldn`t have asked for more. Having resources to reflect on after the sessions massively improved my confidence and helped to put my mind at ease. I`m so pleased to have participated :)

We (daughter and parents) want to say a humongous thank you to Tara, she has been a fantastic tutor. She is amazing: friendly, enthusiastic, supportive and has a gift for being able to clearly explain complex information in a well organised and comprehensive way. Tara provides additional lessons and has great strategies for learning that can be reapplied to anything. My daughter was taught by Tara over about 18 months. She was really struggling with Biology- not getting the teaching standard needed at school for many reasons. My daughter was very stressed and anxious and felt hopeless - that she would never be able to do Biology. Tara gave my daughter the confidence and skills to get through this. Today is results day and my daughter got an A in Biology! She also got A* A* in other subjects. But if she hadn’t had Tara’s guidance and reassurance then this may have been very different story.
