I am a fully qualified, experienced teacher, having completed my Post Graduate Certificate in Education at Queen`s University Belfast. I also have a degree in Biomedical Sciences from University of Ulster. This degree has given me extensive background knowledge in both Biology and Chemistry. I am currently employed as a full-time Science teacher entering with nearly 5 years experience. This has given me experience teaching Biology, Chemistry and Physics to GCSE as well as Biology to A-level.

I have a keen interest in the science world, and this is evident in my teaching. I make active-learning a priority, ensuring that my students are as involved as possible with their learning. What I enjoy most about teaching is getting to know the different ways in which my student`s learn, utilising their unique qualities to devise teaching methods that will help them realise and reach their full potential.

I am a friendly, easy going person, and adhere to a firm but fair policy. I encourage my students to ask as many questions as possible and to be confident and comfortable enough to attempt to answer anything they may be asked.

My lessons will be specifically tailored to each individual with clearly defined aims and goals. What is taught during each session will be entirely down to the requirements of the student, and will be delivered at a pace to suit them. It is my intention to make learning as stress free and enjoyable as possible, with every improvement and target reached recognised and celebrated accordingly.

Availability: I am available evenings Tuesday to Friday with the possibility of weekends.

Experience: I have experience teaching in both a Secondary and Grammar school, teaching KS3 Science, GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics as well as A-level Biology.
