I am a qualified secondary teacher of Modern Foreign Languages, specialising in Spanish and French, but also including German.

I am also a fluent Welsh speaker and have experience in teaching Welsh at KS3 and KS4.

I studied Spanish and German at the university of Liverpool and spent a year living in Barcelona working as an English assistant. I also spent 6 months living and working in Gran Canaria. I possess an A level in French (A grade)and I am fluent in Welsh and currently teach languages (French and Spanish) through the medium of Welsh. Therefore, I am also able to provide tuition through the medium of Welsh if required.

I aim to make my lessons fun and enjoyable by including a variety of different activities and topics. I can also adapt my lessons to suit my students so I am happy to focus on particular skills (such as speaking or writing) if preferred.

Experience: I am a fully qualified teacher and I am able to teach Spanish, Welsh, French and German.

I currently teach Spanish, French and German at KS3 and KS4 in a secondary school. I am familiar with the new GCSE (WJEC) course which includes reading, writing, speaking and listening exams and provide lessons which cover all key skills.

I am extremely pleased to be able to say that 3 of my students studying GCSE German all achieved A*`s in their exams (August 2018) and more recently 3 of my pupils studying Spanish and French also gained A*`s in their exams (August 2020).
