Geography specialist able to offer Geography tutoring up to A Level and Tutoring/teaching support for home schooling. Former Head of Humanities and senior member of staff in a Berkshire secondary school. Currently still teaching in school to A Level.
Availability: Flexible, Please refer to availability on site. Would consider appropriate group/school tutoring from January 2023 during school hours. For 1to1 after school hours I prefer earlier rather than later sessions. Willing to offer intensive revision sessions during school holidays.

Experience: Experienced semi-retired teacher with over four decades in Secondary Education with the majority as Head of Geography/Humanities. Enhanced DBS check, with up to date in school training. Still working in a school as a part time Geography teacher.

Chris tutored both my son and daughter for GCSE and A level and both found his sessions both enjoyable and challenging. He has a most calm and reassuring style of teaching and was always very well prepared. Both my son and daughter feel they made great strides forward on key areas and exam technique. Chris has been providing support to my daughter during the A Level Geography (OCR) revision period. He is reliable and professional. Chris tailored the sessions to individual need and has included a range of exam questions, case studies, and useful insight covering the full syllabus. My daughter’s exam confidence has increased over this time.
