Information about Elaine
I`m a friendly, patient teacher with over 24-years` experience, including living and working in France for a year.
I teach French to all levels - including the new GCSE syllabus - and Spanish up to Key Stage 3.
I`m also an experienced mentor, helping to train the next generation of student teachers.
When I`m not in the classroom, I love reading, music, Netflix, yoga, reiki and visiting new places.
Availability: During the Covid-19 outbreak, I can conduct lessons via Zoom or Whereby video, Monday to Thursday (and possibly Sundays too)
Willing to travel: 8 miles
Experience: I`ve over 24-years` experience teaching French and Spanish in both secondary and primary schools on Wirral.
I`ve also been a student-teacher mentor for ten years and was Head of French and Head of KS3 Languages for three years.
Currently, I work four days per week as both mentor and languages teacher.

Elaine has been absolutely brilliant with my son. He is very anxious and she has been so patient with him, she has really boosted his confidence and helped him to improve. She has built a great rapport with my son and he really enjoys the sessions. She is a great tutor and genuinely cares about her students.

Elaine has a lovely manner and is very gentle and encouraging with our son who can be quite shy. Her lessons are well-planned and she has useful tips and tricks. I would highly recommend her!
