Information about Thomas
I am currently working towards my PhD in History at the University of Manchester, with plans to submit my thesis this summer/autumn.
I am friendly and hard-working with excellent academic credentials. I enjoy teaching and I am committed to achieving excellent results with my students. I have worked with students from the age of 11 right up to undergraduates and I am used to adapting my teaching techniques to students of differing ages and abilities. Fluent in French, having worked abroad as an English Language Assistant, I also worked as a personal tutor in English as a foreign language. I draw upon a wide range of experience and interests to inform my teaching.
I am happy to offer a free consultation for the first lesson to assess the needs and abilities of the student and to tailor a programme to help the student achieve their goals
