I approach teaching by taking the time to learn each student`s needs and motivations and tailoring my approach accordingly. I believe effective learning is two-way and a good tutor should approach teaching believing he can learn as much from his students as they will from him. I am happy to teach all ages and levels whether learning’s for course work, exams, career, or just for fun.
Availability: Flexible, including evenings and weekends.

Experience: I am a former UK Civil Servant with a BSc. in Politics, and an M.A. in British History from the University of London, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and a passion for teaching. I’m an experienced tutor having successfully prepared students for exams at secondary level and helped degree students improve their dissertations. My other experiences include job-based mentoring and coaching and teaching English as a second language, and my education and career have given me a sophisticated understanding of British history, its laws, and contemporary politics.
