I am a DBS-certified Cardiff university student studying MSc Computing, and have recently achieved a 2:1 in BA Mathematics and Music. I have tutored both online and in-person since 2018 with over 600 hrs of experience, mostly tutoring GCSE mathematics students. My most recent DBS check was in October 2022.

Most of my experience in mathematics is in applied mathematics, and in my final year mathematics modules I averaged a 1st. At university I also studied musical theory, studio production, and composition, achieving 2:1s or 1sts in all music modules.

Before university, I achieved a B in A-level Latin, and 10 As and 1 A* in my GCSEs including English and triple science.

Outside of my studies and work, I study beginner`s Japanese and like to play board games with family and friends.

I know that taking exams and applying to university can be stressful for students, and so I make sure pupils can balance their mental wellbeing with learning outcomes.

I will spend a small part of our first establishing a goal for our sessions as each student has different needs. This might be anything from exam techniques and confidence building to conceptual understanding. I can also set and mark homework if requested.

I am very confident in teaching:
- English and Welsh curriculum for any subject listed on my profile
- Scottish and Irish curriculum for maths up to GCSE
- ABRSM grades 1-7 music theory
- Composition up to grade 6/GCSE level standard

Availability: My current availability is limited to Sunday 10am -11.30am and 7.30pm - 9pm and am only available for online lessons
