Information about Dave
I have an honours degree (upper second) in Mathematics from Exeter University. I have had a career in IT for a major bank and am now retired and have recently moved to South Devon. I want to use my knowledge and experience to help students develop their skills in maths.
Availability: I have availability late afternoon / early evenings most days. I could also be available other times if that was more convenient.
Willing to travel: 8 miles
Experience: I do not have a formal teaching qualification. However, I have spent a large part of my career delivering training both on an individual and group basis. One of my children is a secondary school maths teacher which enables me to keep up to date with latest curriculum and methods.

Dave helped my son to gain confidence to resit his GCSE maths papers , he has helped him a great deal and was very thorough going through things he was unsure on . Would definitely recommend Dave as a tutor and would use him again if we needed to .

Dave helped our grandson take his GCSEs, despite him previously have missed a lot of classwork. Dave was patient, encouraging and motivational and had a good understanding of the curriculum.
