I like to work in a relaxed atmosphere and build a strong working relationship with the young people I teach. I believe 1 on 1 tuition is esential for their academic develpment and for them to achieve their full potential. I am very flexible in terms of my availability and am prepared to work out around your needs to find a convinient time for the tuition to take place.

Experience: I currently work at a Secondary School in Calderdale as an Achievement Director of Maths for 11-16 year old students.

I previously worked for the Calderdale Pupil Referral Unit, which is a school for young people excluded from mainstream education. Here I taught and offered support in subjects across the Curriculum. In what can be an intense atmosphere, our focus was on progressing their education until they are re-integrated back into mainstream school.

Since finishing University I have spent time working with children in America and England and now specialise solely in Maths.

As well as working for the Pupil Referral Unit I have experienced Mainstream and Public school environments. This has included teaching large classes, small groups and a variety of subjects acroos the curriculum but particularly Maths,English, GCSE Physical Education and B TEC Sport.

I currently have a number of students who I tutor, working towards their various upcoming GCSE exams.
