I am 34 years old and currently Head of Key Stage 4 at a mixed secondary school where GCSE results are in the top 3% nationally.
I am an examiner for AQA for GCSE Biology and can help students reach the top grades with specialist knowledge of the exam technique required.
I cover a variety of exam boards and have resources available to suit different specifications.
I am a friendly enthusiastic tutor who can make a difference in getting the most out of GCSE Biology whether that means securing a pass or reaching grade 8/9.
Before becoming a teacher I was a veterinary surgeon, and so have a special interest in anatomy and physiology.

What a beautiful inside and out Tutor!! Emily was fair but firm and really knew how to deal with my boys!
She started with my older son who she helped with his Biology where he had a 4 in his iGCSE mock exam. By the time we found her, she literally only had 2-3 months and can’t believe how much his confidence and ability increased! She was so organised and focused at all times and so easy to liaise with as you could contact her whenever you needed.
I was so impressed with her that she then also helped my 13 year old with his Biology and Chemistry which were the weakest sciences but by the time she finished with him, they were his stringest!
I am so impressed with her and will definitely use her again for my younger sons iGCSEs!
