I am flexible, dedicated, and have a great deal of experience in tutoring. I believe that effective tutoring is about working together with the student, and adapting the learning to their needs and their learning styles.

Helping my pupils to reach their potential has always been very rewarding to me, and I believe that pupils need to have a tutor who is engaging and approachable to succeed. I also believe that tutoring is about increasing their self confidence, which is directly tied to their success.

I have a degree in Geography and have Qualified teacher status in teaching secondary level Geography. I am enthusiastic about encouraging students to explore the subject and ask any questions they have. It`s important for them feel comfortable even when making mistakes, as this they can often learn immensely from those areas of difficulty.

I offer a supportive framework on which students can build confidence in their knowledge of the course content first, before they are encouraged to work more independently, where they can then return with any further questions and we can work together to continue the learning from there. I always look forward to new relationships I can establish with my future pupils.

Experience: I am a qualified and experienced Geography secondary school teacher, awarded QTS in 2020. I started working at secondary school, as soon as i graduated. As a teacher in a secondary school, I teach all students from year 7 (KS3) to year 11 (GCSE Level). This has allowed me teach students of different ages and abilities, which has allowed me to expand my subject knowledge. Furthermore, I set high expectation of my students - for their geographical knowledge and understanding, ensure the quality of their work and their behaviour.

I`m an enthusiastic Geography teacher. I love the subject and enjoy helping students understand the basics, or push for a higher grade. I have many years of experience in helping students who are preparing for their examinations, with revision, using mind maps, diagrams, key words, mneumonics and memory techniques. I can also help GCSE students with essay-writing for longer-answer exam questions. For younger learners, I can bring Geography to life with lots of fun teaching ideas.

I quickly develop good rapport with my students, establishing solid routines and employs consistent and fair practices in my classroom. I take an active interest in the well-being of each of my pupils. Close contact with the parents is undertaken in a very thorough and meaningful way. My pupils respond well to my engaging approach to education and genuine interest in them, and show great academic improvement.
