I am 23 years of age and have been teaching for three years. I am incredibly organised, patient and a good communicator. Being young and passionate about my subject enables me to build relationships quickly with students and engage them in the subject. Outside of teaching I play football and squash and love to travel.

Availability: Weekdays after 6 and weekends 12-8pm.

Experience: I was appointed Head of Department for Business and Economics this year due to my outstanding results. The department last year achieved 85% A*-C, 20 % above national average. I have experience working with low and high ability students with 1 in 3 of our students getting an A/A* last year. I also teach Economics A level and studied Economics at the University of Nottingham. I am an examiner for AQA Economics, meaning I have training on how to mark exam scri pts and how students gain marks in the exam. This gives a significant advantage in preparaing students to take their AS and A level exams. Last year, I won an award for the best newcomer to the Harris Federation from a list of 22 Academies, showcasing the outstanding teaching and support I could offer your son/daughter.
