Hi! I`m Owen, I`m a 27 year old tutor and filmmaker who is studying at London Film School.

After graduating Newcastle University with an MA with Merit in Film Theory and Practice I have continued to make short films, both fiction and documentary, which have featured in both local and international festivals. I am keen to help students and aspiring filmmakers achieve the best grades possible while also cultivating a passion for film.

I offer tuition in all areas of film studies and film making, from GCSE to postgraduate and even adult learners.

Availability: I can be very flexible with availability and tutor at the times that suit your schedule best.

Experience: I am currently studying at London Film School on their Filmmaking MA. I have previously studied at Newcatle University (MA in Film Theory and Practice), London Film School (Directing Summer School) and at the National Film and Television School (Certificate in Filmmaking).

As well as academic study, I have real world filmmaking experience, having made several short films and worked in video production, meaning I can tutor anything from essays and exams to practical coursework and filmmaking.

I will tailor each lesson to the student`s individual needs, making sure every lesson is both fun and rewarding while also maximizing each student`s potential.
