An enthusiastic secondary school maths teacher committed to raising standards and ensuring that students acquire knowledge, skills and understanding appropriate to ensure their success. I have a proven track record of raising standards across all key stages both in my role as Head of department, and as a class teacher over the past 30 years. I was a Head of Mathematics for 11 years and I am an Examiner of KS2 SATS, GCSE, A Level and International A Level Pure Maths and Statistics. I have taught all age ranges from year six up to year thirteen and have taught A Level Maths and Further Maths for over 20 years and am currently teaching IB Maths and iGCSE. I have tutored students privately for 25 years and I have experience in teaching online to groups of students and individuals - including private tuition – this started during the pandemic in 2020 and has continued since.

Experience: I have experience in teaching GCSE and iGCSE Maths, Level 2 Further Maths, OCR Additional Maths , A/AS levels for both Maths and Further Maths, IB Maths, GCSE Statistics and Edexcel Maths Awards. I have also organized and taught a high achieving booster class for Year 6 students from local primary schools. I have been an examiner for Pearson/ Edexcel exam board, for KS2 SATS exams, GCSE Maths and A Level Maths (Including International A Levels) for the last 20 years and will be continuing to work with them as an examiner in the future.
