I am a qualified and experienced Science Teacher and Lecturer (with QTS) with over 10 years of teaching experience. I have taught a wide range of levels, including Key Stage 3, GCSE, A-Level, Access to Higher Education courses, and science-related undergraduate foundation programmes, with subject specialism in Biology.

My approach to tutoring is student-centred and results- driven. I strive to create an engaging and supportive learning environment where students not only enjoy being tutored but also make meaningful academic progress. To achieve this, I employ a variety of teaching strategies tailored to individual learning styles and needs, ensuring that each student has the best opportunity to succeed.

I have a strong understanding of major UK exam boards: OCR, Edexcel, and AQA, and have also worked as a GCSE Biology Examiner, Moderator and Assessment writer. This experience has given me valuable insight into what examiners look for, which I use to help students improve their exam technique and confidence.

My teaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that every learner has the potential to succeed. With the right guidance, encouragement, and professional support, students can overcome barriers to learning and achieve the outcomes they deserve.
