Friendly, patient and fully qualified teacher in Art and Design at KS3, KS4 and KS5. I can help your child to pinpoint areas of study in which they are struggling and create a structured approach to build confidence and ability. Whilst my specialism is in Art and Design, I also have experience teaching English, English as an Additional Language and Theology.

Whether your child needs help preparing for an exam or building on existing coursework, or simply wants to improve his/her skills and confidence - I can tailor a plan that compliments his/her learning style.

My teaching approach is holistic in that I believe in nurturing a child not just in their learning but in developing their confidence and self assurance. My life experience has helped me to gain a broader perspective on the role of a teacher or tutor. Having travelled extensively I am a keen seeker of knowledge, always inquisitive, curious and ready for the next adventure. I`ve spent a year working as an illustrator on a tropical island, set up an English Tuition Centre in Northern China, and even featured on one of Grayson Perry`s pots. As a teacher, I try to instill the message that life is an ongoing process of learning and exploration, and building confidence in the formative years of education can really provide the best foundation for later life.
