I have 10 years of experience tutoring maths and physics in one to one or in small groups for both mainstream students and those with learning difficulties. I have lots of experience tutoring GCSE maths and have started tutoring "A" level maths on-line in 2019 and have been tutoring "Access to Higher Education" for 5 years. "Access to Higher Education" is a foundation year for mature students who want to go to university and this course gets them up to A level knowledge in maths as well as the science or engineering that they specialise in.
I am patient, motivated, personable and offer praise at regular intervals. I know how to pace the lesson, slowing down when the student is having difficulties or having an "off day".
My low rate/hr is not a reflection on my ability, rather that I have a part time job which pays me this rate and it would not be fair to charge more for private tutoring.
Availability: Weekday evenings

Experience: I started tutoring "A" level and GCSE maths and GCSE physics on line in 2019 and have been tutoring Access to Higer Education maths and physics at "A" level standard for 5 years both on and off line and have a good record of success.

Andrew helped my daughter become confident in learning A-level Maths. He helped her understand the topic of Forces that she could not get to grips with learning at school. His explanation was clear and he worked through the end of topic questions so she could see how the theory was used practically. She feels there was a positive outcome. We will use him again for tutoring when faced with other difficult A-level Mathematics topics.
