Information about Shaira

As a well-qualified, experienced and enthusiastic teacher, I am able to provide high quality tuition to all my students.

I graduated in Classics from Trinity College, University of Cambridge, where I also obtained my PGCE (Secondary) in Classics. I able to prepare pupils for the Common Entrance and 13+ scholarship papers in Latin, as well as GCSE and A-Level. I can also offer lessons to pupils applying to study Classics at university.

I have two Masters degrees and a PhD in Politics from the University of Bristol.

I also hold a Advanced (Level 5) TEFL certificate. Therefore, I am trained to teach adult learners who have English as a second language. I am able to offer the following lessons: General/Conversational English, Academic English, Business English, and interview coaching.

Availability: I am currently not accepting new students.

Due to current family circumstances, my lessons are all online.

Experience: I have taught Classics and Politics at independent secondary schools in London.

In addition to my secondary school teaching, I have taught Politics to undergraduates at the University of Bristol.

Shaira has been tutoring my mum improve her English as it is not her main language. She has adapted the sessions to suit my mums requirements and has made my mum feel very comfortable. My mum looks forward to the weekly sessions. Shaira also sends weekly homework sheets.
