Hi, I am a 1st year Medical student at The University of Edinburgh. Last year I graduated from a BSc in Medical Sciences at Edinburgh, and collectively my two degrees have allowed me to develop my knowledge and interest in science (specifically Biology and Chemistry) further.
At School I had a very keen interest in the sciences and studied Biology, Chemistry and Physics all to Higher. I obtained A`s in my National 5`s and A`s/B`s in my Highers, I also studied Biology and Chemistry to Advanced Higher and passed these as well. In my previous degree I attained a 2:1.
I still have my old notes and revision material (including some study books) from my time in high school, which I can bring to help aid the tutoring. Although I left the education system a few years ago, I have younger siblings and have previously had tutoring experiences to help refresh my memory.

Availability: I am available some nights through the week, when I am not working. I would be available at the weekend, morning to night.

Experience: I have previously helped teach a 1st year Science class in my final year of high school, through this I gained experience in supporting students queries and also working with them in small groups and on a one-to-one basis. In addition to this, I was buddied with a younger student to aid her reading skills, I helped her every morning during registration for 2 years. I also assisted in a Primary school, mainly within Maths, which allowed me to help a variety of ages and abilities, I committed to this for a year. I have previously tutored high school students in Biology and Chemistry, and I am able to amend my teaching style to suit the individual.
