I am a committed, enthusiastic and hard working tutor and will tailor each lesson to suit the pupil and their needs. During lesson we look at exam questions and examiners reports to highlight the skills and knowledge needed to attain the top grades. I use exam papers to identify areas of weakness so we can then work on specific skills or topics. We can then revise topics and make revision materials.

Experience: I have many years experience teaching Chemistry. I plan ahead and explain key scientific and mathematical concepts in a variety of different formats to suit the learner. I am effective with communicating pupil progress with parents, and ensure learners receive clear and comprehensive feedback on their work.

I endeavour to work in partnership with pupils, listening carefully to find the best ways of overcoming barriers to learning and providing the bespoke support required to progress. I aim to have fun sessions so learning is enjoyable and stimulating, while raising confidence, achievment and attainment. I have a proven track record of success, with students exceeding expectations.
