I have been teaching English for approximately 13 years and am a good practitioner at all key stages. I have an excellent track record of producing good GCSE results and particularly like the challenge of pushing borderline pupils. I enjoy teaching the new AQA specification (2017 exam) and have a real passion for English Literature.

Availability: From January I will be full time tutoring.

English has always been my favourite subject it offers the chance to develop an understanding of language and an opportunity to embrace our history and to stimulate and engage pupils and pass on the love of literature. In addition to teaching I am also a Team Leader/ Senior Examiner for OCR, therefore I understand what examiners are looking for and ultimately how to get there using the tricks of the trade.
