Information about Madeleine
I am a graduate of Trinity College, Cambridge, where I studied Japanese. At university I focused on Japanese language, modern literature and politics. I spent my third year in Kyoto, where I was a student in the international language programme at Doshisha University. As a result, I speak Japanese to an advance level, and I am comfortable teaching the language to A Level.
On top of Japanese, I am happy teaching English Language and Literature. Japanese Literature was my specialism in university, but I also achieved an A in Advanced Higher (A Level equivalent) English and have taught English as a Foreign Language for over 150 hours. I am familiar with various exam board for both GCSE and A Level English Language and Literature courses.
Lastly, I offer singing tuition to beginner and intermediate students. I hold a Grade 8 Distinction in Voice from the ABRSM, was a choral scholar with the Choir of Trinity College, Cambridge for four years, and am currently undertaking an MMus in Vocal Studies at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
