I am an experienced tutor in the field of English, ESL, and admissions, who is dedicated to helping students achieve their fullest potential. Together, we will develop not only subject knowledge, but also confidence in their own self-expression.

I hold a Bachelor`s degree in Education from the University of Cambridge, and a Master`s degree in Acting from the University of Essex.

I also personally understand how vital tutoring is to the students who are slipping through the gaps of the academic system - it was the help of an A Level Biology tutor when I was studying at a state school that allowed me to achieve the grades I needed to go to the University of Cambridge.

I hope to use my experience in educational pedagogy along with my subject knowledge in English, Drama, Sociology, and ESL to help you achieve your best results. I look forward to working with students of all ages, but hope to contribute my expertise especially towards students who are applying for Oxbridge and drama schools, as I have first-hand experience of both processes.

Experience: My previous tutoring experience includes 3 years as an online English as a Second Language tutor with Ringle, during which time I conducted over 1,300 lessons with ~95% 5/5 ratings and positive feedback and was ranked as one of the top 5% of teachers on the platform, in a pool of over 2,000 tutors.

I took a break from teaching in 2023 and joined a sustainability startup, but last year realised how much I was missing tutoring when I volunteered to help my younger sister with her A Level exams. I tutored her via Zoom for 12 weeks with hourly sessions in English, Psychology, and Economics, and was thrilled to have helped her progress from predicted C and D grades to being accepted by the University of Exeter with ABB results.
