Information about Adam
Hi guys! I am a current Graduate-Entry Medicine (MBBCh) student at Swansea University, and before that I completed a BSc in Applied Medical Sciences, achieving First Class Honours.
I can help you navigate the UK medical school admissions process effectively, regardless of whether you are a school-leaver, graduate-entry, or international applicant. I`ve personally been through it all!
Specific things I can share my knowledge on are:
1) How to choose a medical school based on your particular situation and skills/personality
2) Personal statements- how to write an effective personal statement to ensure that even the most minor experiences are well reflected upon
3) Interview prep- MMIs, panel interviews, presentations (yes-some medical schools require you to present as part of your interview (this was certainly a daunting part in my application process))
I took the long route into medical school. In sixth-form, I applied to medicine and secured an offer at Sheffield University, but unfortunately missed the grades slightly so had to pivot around to my undergraduate degree. In 2025, I applied for graduate-entry medicine and received offers from Swansea, St George`s and Nottingham; three universities with completely different interview formats. I have also sat on interview panels, meaning I know how it feels from both ends, which makes me uniquely qualified to help you achieve your goals.
Outside medicine, I`ve spent years in roles built around the same core skills that tutoring depends on- recognising what someone actually needs and communicating clearly under pressure: as a care home assistant, a rugby coach, and previously as a GCSE Chemistry tutor.
My approach is direct and tailored to you specifically. We will work through your strengths and weaknesses, figuring out where you shine and nurture than, and develop what you struggle with.
Interviews aren`t just about ticking boxes but about being yourself! My job is to help you sound like yourself, under pressure, with a stronger case than you`d have built alone, while still hitting the key points every medical school expects.
Availability: Despite studying medicine, I`m quite flexible in terms of availability, but mostly available in the afternoon/evening and weekends.
Let me know what suits you best and we will go from there!
