A dynamic, friendly and hardworking St Andrews University student between second and third years reading Mediaeval History and Latin, with a passion for bringing often niche subjects to as wide a range of individuals possible. Given my A Level qualification French (which I studied for 3 terms at St Andrews also), I am willing and able to tutor in that subjects also.

Experience: My experience in tutoring began with my Latin education at school. The subject itself was not offered on the curriculum and so I studied it on an extra-curricular basis under a tutor myself, allowing me to understand the ins and outs of tutoring, the difficult areas of the Latin language to learn and the best methods for learning them. In terms of general personal skills, I have worked part time in catering for nearly 4 years now, and therefore have developed a range of interpersonal skills, especially in quick and clear communication of ideas. I have also participated in the Young European Movement`s `Europe At School` project, undertaking a presentation with a Madras College S1 class (Kilrymont) concerning the EU, its history, and its functions. Therefore, I have a range of skills developed through first-hand experience which promise me to be a competent and effective tutor.
