Information about Ewan
I am an Oxford graduate and qualified teacher with ten years teaching experience in some of the UK’s best schools. I taught English for my whole career and was Head of English in three of the UK`s leading independent schools. I offer tuition in English Literature and Language to children from 11+ to Sixth Form. I now tutor full time both online and across London.
Availability: I am a full time tutor and can normally accommodate tutee requests, including evening teaching. I work at weekends and am also happy to offer online lessons.

Our Year 10 son was making little progress at school with English due to poor feedback and uninspiring teaching. Within just one lesson with Ewan our son had a beaming smile on his face and was enjoying learning English for the first time. He now asks for more homework tasks and his grades have dramatically improved. Highly recommended!

Ewan has been tutoring my son intensively in GCSE English Language for the last 6 weeks via home schooling as my son has returned to the UK after living abroad and is trying to get a couple of GCSEs under his belt before returning to regular schooling next year. Ewan is an excellent teacher. My son is making great progress, really enjoys his lessons with him and is feeling really positive about his readiness for exams. He has helped to prepare for both papers and the speaking exam, which is great. On top of that, he is very personable and very flexible. Highly recommended!
