Ewan has been tutoring my son intensively in GCSE English Language for the last 6 weeks via home schooling as my son has returned to the UK after living abroad and is trying to get a couple of GCSEs under his belt before returning to regular schooling next year. Ewan is an excellent teacher. My son is making great progress, really enjoys his lessons with him and is feeling really positive about his readiness for exams. He has helped to prepare for both papers and the speaking exam, which is great. On top of that, he is very personable and very flexible. Highly recommended!

Ewan is very professional and friendly tutor. I really appreciate his time and effort before he had the first online lesson with out 15 year old daughter. He called us and we introduced ourselves, we spoke about our expectations and got to know each other. Our daughter really enjoys the lessons and Ewan knows how to push her and help with the assignments when and if needed. Ewan is very experienced and knowledgeable. We are very happy with Ewan and highly recommend him.

Ewan is an excellent and outstanding tutor, he is one of the most intelligent and best teachers I have ever come across. He is extremely well prepared, clear and patient. He is understanding and creates a nonjudgmental environment during his lessons. Ewan is always available and happy to help as and when needed. Thanks to Ewan`s support, my daughter`s grades have improved within a very short period of time.

Ewan is a brilliant tutor for my son for A level English. They have particularly focussed on Chaucer and Goldsmith and on Richard. Ewan has made these come alive, and really helped him understand the AO points and what he needs to do to get the marks. My sons teachers have really noticed the difference and in 6 sessions Ewan has helped him move up a grade and a half. I would very strongly recommend Ewan to anyone who is around a C+/B- and needs to get an A or above. He is also very flexible both on dates and on approaches. Mark

My son has been working with Ewan recently, providing support and additional guidance with English Literature A Level. Ewan has been nothing but first class in every way. From a parent’s perspective he has been approachable, provided very helpful feedback, and taken control in a situation we have been unable to. From our child’s perspective, the relationship is an excellent one with Ewan giving clear direction, assistance and insight into how our child can get more out of the subject.
