Jan Luca

I am a student at King`s College London offering tutoring for Economics, Maths, German, and English. I am currently averaging a 1st class studying Economics and Politics, with a major in Economics. I completed my IGCSE`s with all A*s and A`s as well as the IB diploma at the top of my class with Economics, English and Philosophy at higher level. I have a passion for teaching and experience working with children of many ages. I have previously been described as "able, intellectually ambitious, interested and interesting", as well as "kind and empathetic towards others". I am a very social person with a passion for sports (basketball) outside of academia. I recognise that not every student responds to traditional teaching methods and therefore try to provide entertaining and engaging lessons for my students.

Experience: - I have been studying Economics at University level for over 2 years and therefore have ample experience in this area.
- I grew up in a bilingual household learning English and German fluently.
- My previous experience tutoring includes teaching underprivileged children in Bali, as well as providing maths tutoring for GCSE students in the UK.
- My teaching style is aimed at those who do not find affinity with traditional teaching methods, similar to myself throughout my school years. Thus, I aim to help my students overcome their difficulties with the subjects at hand, in my interactive and fun lessons, personalised to their learning styles.
