Information about Zarah

I`m a friendly, reliable and patient tutor who is passionate about helping young people I am dyslexic and so understand the challenges students with additional learning needs may face.I aim to teach students concepts and make my lessons fun, engaging and relevant. I plan lessons in advance and use a variety of teaching tools such as powerpoints, quizzes , videos and worksheets. My specialist science subject is chemistry up to GCSE.

Experience: I have recently finished my A levels and have experience in helping students at GCSE and A level who are finding concepts challenging to understand. I provide structured work in order to meet all aspects of the specification and provide papers to ensure students gain paper practice.

Zarah is a wonderful tutor. My daughter has special educational needs which means she sometimes finds that the teachers go too fast. My daughter found Zarah to be super easy to engage with and she quickly felt relaxed working on her maths and science with her. Zarah creates a non pressured and inclusive environment and was able to quickly understand my daughter’s style of learning and work with this style to help her grasp concepts and retain information. She has given my daughter a great boost and we have already seen an improvement in her test scores. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone with dyslexic/neurodivergent children who need some additional support.
