Information about Kseniya
This autumn I will begin my second year of Physics at the University of Bath. For as long as I can remember I have wanted to study Science: to understand how things work, why they work, what makes them work. I also realised that the mathematics behind the science was key to understanding all the above without mathematics I could never hope to push my understanding into areas where practical experiments were no longer enough, and I therefore I took both Maths and Further Maths at A-Level.
Apart from academic work I have spent the last year training with the British Dressage Youth team where I work with members of the Olympic squad. Equestrian sport has been my main non-academic interest for the last 10 years; I enjoy the challenge of balancing academia and sport, and being able to succeed at both through organisation and efficient time management. Academic work is, however, my priority and my passion.
Availability: I am very flexible with my time and have availability for both mornings and afternoons.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: During my school years I was elected to be the Physics peer tutor and ever since then I have loved helping others learn. Maths is a subject that requires practise and a good understanding of the fundamental concepts in order to achieve top marks in exams. I have always believed that having a person to bounce off ideas from and revise with is key to performing well in exams.
