Information about Harrison
I am a third-year physics student currently studying for my master`s degree (MPhys).
As someone who has spent a long time in education, I understand the best ways to explain difficult ideas clearly and from different perspectives. This means I can help tutees internalise both applications as well as concepts. My experience in education means that I have a rich toolbox of tips and tricks - these have helped me pass every exam. As a tutor I would be able to pass on this knowledge and help ensure that my tutees fully understand the subject at hand, and can receive the best grade possible. I am diligent at creating learning resources and planning work in advance.
The pandemic has significantly impacted the education of students at all stages - from university to primary school. I am taking on tutees this summer, who can use the break to top-up their learning from the last academic year.
I have past experience teaching programming to both beginners and semi-learned students.
My work at university involves chemical simulations of planet atmospheres, which has a heavy maths and programming focus.
