Hi, I’m Saman! I have completed my fourth-year of medicine at Barts and am now studying for my masters at Kings college London.

I am friendly and approachable, motivated in aiding students to reach their full potential and succeed. Having achieved all A*s at GCSE and A*-A grades in my A-levels from the Henrietta Barnett school, I have a good understanding of the specific exam techniques required to achieve the best grades!

My aim as a tutor is to help students have a good understanding of the topics, by identifying the areas they need more support with. I will begin by teaching the core concepts to ensure that each student has a good foundation, to then build upon the more complex topics. My main teaching style is through using active recall methods such as flashcards, quizzes, and diagrams to help explain concepts to students. I will also provide practice questions for the students to consolidate their knowledge after each session, and ensure they have understood the topic well.

Each session will be specifically tailored to each student and their exam board. I have had 5 years of tutoring experience and am also able to provide tips on revision methods and strategies to help with the student`s own self-study outside of tutoring sessions.

I am also happy to help aspiring medicine and dentistry students with advice on the UCAT, BMAT, and personal statements!

Availability: I am very flexible with my timings. During term time I am free on the weekends and most evenings.

Experience: I have had over 5 years of tutoring experience. I have worked as a tutor at Kumon tuition center, teaching children from the ages of 3-15.I have also previously tutored many GCSE and A-level students, guiding them through the syllabus and giving advice on exam technique
