My name is Leyla - I`m a freelance sustainability consultant and maths tutor. Over the past four years, I worked in secondary schools as a Maths specific Teaching Assistant at KS3 and GCSE level. I provided in-class support as well as delivering 1:1/small group maths sessions.

For the past two years I have privately tutored maths for Y6 - Y11 (in person and online), and now have openings for students who may need an additional boost to reach their potential in maths. I appreciate that learners have differing needs and ways of learning, and I am able to identify these and tailor my approach accordingly. I have experience of working with students with a range of SEN, maths anxiety and low confidence in maths, as well as high ability students.

I have a strong academic background having gained a First Class BSc Environmental Science and International Development Degree, and a Masters Degree in Climate Change Adaptation with High Distinction.
