An Oxford graduate and experienced performer and tutor for children and adults of all abilities.

Lessons can be tailored around your goals and ability - whether that is taking music exams or just doing it for fun, I can cater for all! I can also provide lessons as a one-off for students doing an audition or exam who feel they would benefit from some extra guidance. The best way to improve quickly is to have a solid understanding of technique and basic music theory so that we can approach more challenging projects - this would form the basis of my lessons. My lessons are both fun and educational and I have a genuine passion for the subject that I hope to pass onto all of my pupils! I encourage anyone who may be thinking about learning a new skill or trying music to give it a go - you might just surprise yourself!! As a multi-instrumentalist I can offer tutelage on the piano, violin, and in singing. In addition to this, my musical education provides me with a firm basis on which to teach music theory, music history and composition to a high standard! I enjoy what I do and would love to share that with you!

Experience: I have a Bachelor`s degree in Music with First Class Honours from Cardiff University and a Master`s in Music (performance) from Oxford University. I have sung as a soprano vocal scholar for the BBC National Chorus of Wales and have been awarded the David Lloyd Vocal award by Cardiff University.

Previously I worked as a tutor at a specialist Music school in Somerset assisting students with the academic learning of music theory and music history as well as on the aural aspects of the ABRSM and TRINITY music exams. I have experience in both classical singing as well as musical theatre, having worked for a Theatre company assisting with the learning of music for exams and shows, with both children and young adults. I have also attained Grade 8 violin, and Piano and have a wealth of experience tutoring and accompanying students on these as well as teaching singing lessons for all abilities and styles.
